The boys are fascinated by superheroes! I need to get one of Daddy's nighttime stories on video - it's just adorable to hear them get excited about a saving adventure - they're hands flying in the air to imitate superman or shouting "batman" after daddy hums na-na-na-na-na . . . At the library the other day, Taye saw a figurine of Spiderman and said "Lex" because Lex is always talking about catching bad guys as he shoots out his imaginary web.They're into real heroes too and some stories have been about policeman and firefighters and even teachers. I'm trying to get in on it too - I told Lex about Veggieman and his wife Fruitmama and he said they live in the garden with their kids Fruitboy and Veggiegirl. Lex always sets up the scene and then asks for an example of a "saving" so we talked about the boy who ate too much candy and needed Veggieman to come save him.
The other day Lex came down and announced he was Wordboy because he changed out of his Clark Kent clothes:)
