Projects

While I try to work on fun projects like baking and painting when Elli isn't in my arms, the boys are both pretty good about entertaining themselves. I have to admit, I am much happier when they read books or build blocks than when they decide to play "the dump" or other games involving pouring things out of their containers.
The other day, I left them in the playroom while I set Elli down in her crib. In less than three minutes, they had spread every small piece of puzzle, playdoh, blocks, and potato head they could find all over the room. Since Taye was merely following the leader, I asked Lex what he was thinking. He responded calmly, "we were spreading the seeds." The boys were watching Sherief spread grass seed just the day before!
