When Taye woke up the next morning on his birthday, he was covered in yellow balloons. He got to open his present from us – a parachute – and we played threw up the balloons and tried to catch them. Since we didn’t bring one book on the trip, I think Lex was ecstatic to see what Nana and Papa had sent - books and $4 – and Taye loved them too. We had breakfast at the hotel and the boys had as many muffins and fruit that they could eat before swimming in the pool again. Taye chose to pop all of his balloons (except two for Lex and Elli) and we headed to the Children’s Museum, stopping at the fountain along the way. They played shopping and doctor, rode in an airplane, fire truck, and racecar, climbed a tree and walked on ropes, and built with Legos and wood blocks.
