Soccer

The boys started soccer today on team Lighting.  I’m not sure who was more excited about it – Lex went downstairs to try on his shin guards while the rest of us were still sleeping; Taye has been asking when it is Saturday all week; Sherief was so excited to give the boys their own ball to practice with.

Other than Taye getting a little grumpy because he was hungry (surprise), they both did a great job.  The “walked like a duck” to practice dribbling and then go to kick and throw the ball into the net.  Their coach is an elementary school principal and did a great job making everything fun.

This morning was pretty cold, but I’m sure we’ll be wishing it were cold again in late May when the season wraps up.
