Lex is getting to the age he really knows what he wants for his birthday. He was thrilled with his presents from family, including an MP3 player, magic starter kit, math book, and travel simon. What he wanted most was a chance in the ticket booth at Chuck E Cheese, so we told him he could pick two friends to invite – boy was that a difficult decision!
Dr. Seuss’ birthday is fittingly celebrated the same week as our super-reader, so we made added a stop at the IMAX in 3-D to see The Lorax. Will Smith jumping off a building in the preview of the latest Men in Black movie had Elli crawling out of her seat, but we all enjoyed the feature.
Luke and Abby helped Lex celebrate at Chuck E Cheese and none of the kids seemed to notice how crazy and crowded it was. At the end of our two hours, including his trip in the ticketblaster, Lex had 1,352 tickets. One long, fun day for a great kid.
