Woke up to a lemonade stand in the front yard – too bad we don’t exactly have prime real estate for that kind of business. After he paid me $1 to make the lemonade, Lex sold one cup to his dad and another to his brother for 75 cents each. He tried for a good two hours before deciding to drink his product.
We had hamburgers, corn on the cob, watermelon salad, and a flag-inspired blueberry raspberry trifle before heading to Sanford for a bounce house, face painting, and ice cream. Strong winds and then a huge downpour had us under the shelter awhile before we made it to the car and drove to away from the crowd to watch the fireworks. Elli was in awe.
